Recipient Update

I received a call this morning with an update on the patient. So far so good!

They essentially read a series of yes/no responses, but I learned that:
The patient's body is accepting my blood cells.
The patient has been released from the hospital.
The patient is doing "well" (next option is "great" and that is highest).

I was starting to get worried because I had not heard anything. I'm so glad they waited to have complete info so they could tell me the good news so far. I'm feeling good about this all over again and at this point can say that I would definitely do it again - whether for this patient (who seems to be responding well) or a new one.
